    If your motherboard supports 3200 MHz speed then this RAM will directly work on 3200 MHz speed. If your motherboard speed is less than that, then RAM will adjust the speed as per motherboard speed. You may need to set XMP profiles, different voltage under BIOS to run it on 3200 MHz speed. If you install XMP memory in a non-XMP motherboard, or don’t have XMP enabled, the memory will simply run at whatever JEDEC timings the computer decides. With Ballistix parts this often means the memory will be down clocked to the next lowest speed. A pair of DDR4-3200 Ballistix RAM could run at DDR4-2666 speeds if XMP was not running as an example, or it could run at 3200 speeds, but with a slower latency.
